Camp Corral at YMCA Camp Shady Brook
What: This year YMCA Camp Shady Brook will be hosting Camp Corral 2012. Camp Corral, funded by Golden Corral restaurants, provides an opportunity for children aged 8-15 whose parents/guardians have been disabled, wounded or fallen/KIA during service in the military, to attend a week of summer camp free of charge.
Campers will participate in a variety of traditional camp activities such as climbing wall, archery, swimming, boating, campfire, Smore's and much much more...
Who: Children Ages 8-15.
No cost to parents, however parents are responsible for the travel to and from camp.
When: August 5th - Friday August 10th
Where: Camp Shady Brook is located in Deckers Colorado. Only 1 hour from Colorado Springs and 1hr 15mins from Denver.
Why: To allow Soldiers and their Families to spend quality time together, laugh a lot, and be restored.

Military Family Camp at Young Life's Trail West
What: Military Family Camp. Does your Family like adventure, laughter and fun – or just need a break from the daily stresses of life? Then join us this summer at Military Family Camp at Young Life's Trail West
Offering horseback riding, pony rides, ropes course, swimming pool, water slide, hot tub, trout pond, tennis courts (rackets and balls available), basketball, sand volleyball, Frisbee golf course, playground, 4x4 jeep tours& White Water Rafting, this is a perfect setting to relax and connect with your Family. Childcare is available on site during scheduled Family activities.
Who: Approx 90 Active Duty Soldiers & their Families. Please note: Single parent Families and Families with a
deployed spouse are invited to participate as well.
When: 27 May- 2 June, 10-16 June and 5-11 August, 2012 (Online applications available beginning 15 March, 2012)

Where: Buena Vista, CO (Transportation to/ from the camp is a Family responsibility)
Why: To allow Soldiers and their Families to spend quality time together, laugh a lot, and be restored.
How Much: Thanks to anonymous and generous donors, you pay only a small registration fee for your entire Family for the week. This fee covers all meals, activities and lodging for the Family for the week.
The fee is based on rank. Specifically, E1-E5 $50.00, E6-E9 $75.00, CW1-O3 $100.00, O4 & above $150.00.
Note: Young Life is a Christian organization, but that is not a requirement to attend. There will be a nightly program with a short message and sing-a-long songs, as well as all the numerous recreational activities.

Free Massage
to Re-deploying Soldiers
Everest College's Colorado Springs campus welcomes veterans home and thanks them for their service by offering free massages to all Fort Carson active-duty servicemembers returning from deployment.
Servicemembers who have returned home within the last 30 days can visit Everest College to pick up a certificate for a free massage. Bring in a copy of your deployment orders and the massage therapy students will massage your stress away.

Free Legal Services
Call-A-Lawyer Service:
On the third Thursday evening of each month, members of the El Paso County Bar Association donate time to answer the public's legal questions at no charge. There is no obligation to the caller and the caller may remain anonymous. The attorneys always remain anonymous to avoid the appearance of solicitation.
Call 719-471-0380 from 7- 9 p.m. on the 3rd Thursday of each month.
The Bar Association cannot offer legal information or advice at any other time. Individuals needing further information or representation are encouraged to speak with an attorney.
The El Paso County Bar Association is a professional association for attorneys that has been serving the local legal community since its founding in March 1902. The Bar Association's mission is to provide legal information and services to its members and to promote respect for the law and the legal profession by the public.
The Call-A-Lawyer Service is separate and apart from Army Legal Services and is in no way affiliated with the Army.
Soldiers always have Legal Assistance at their disposal.

Free Home Repairs
Rebuilding Together is a non-profit organization in the Pikes Peak region that provides home repairs. Rebuilding Together can assist injured active-duty military personnel and veterans with home repairs and to make homes accessible for those with disabilities.
Rebuilding Together will work with families to determine just what they need. There is no charge for the services.
