Mission

The mission of the Warrior Family Community Partnership (WFCP) is to integrate existing systems of support and services to Fort Carson Soldiers and their Families to assure an optimal quality of life while fulfilling their mission to our nation. The WFCP concept also serves the Greater Front Range Community by providing a forum and facility space for individuals and groups wishing to support Soldiers and Families with services, gifts, and volunteer activities. Part of WFCP concept is a civilian community council. The community council meets quarterly on Fort Carson with the purpose of getting an update on the program, providing feedback on the program as well as socializing with key Fort Carson leadership (both civilian and military).

Vision

The WFCP is an integrated multi-faceted partnership of Army & community resources, both virtual and physical, that are easily available to all. A shopping mall of assistance, growth & well-being, joining all in one place, to include Personal Growth, Wellness, Community Resources/Donations, Army Resources, DoD & VA Medical Resources, FMWR, Education Center Connection, Donation Center Hotline, Local, Colorado & National NGOs. Everything is interconnected- a Partnership.

Goals

It is the goal of the WFCP to serve as the "model" for the Army of an effective fully integrated Soldier & Family support program. WFCP will become the 21st Century version of ACS (Army Community Services). To be known in the community as the agency or directorate with whom citizens can interact & contribute support to Fort Carson personnel. To provide the access point for the community for the resources, opportunities & talents available on Post. To improve efficiency & interoperability of existing Army programs so that services & support are dispensed seamlessly.

Structure

The WFCP is an Army funded organization operating under the rules & regulations of the US Department of Defense. It is an Army led organization that reports to a Governing Board chaired by the Commanding General of Fort Carson that consists of Army & civilian members. The WFCP is managed by an Executive Director who reports to the Governing Board.
